Highly Immunoreactive IgG Antibodies Directed Against a Set of Twenty Human Proteins in the Sera of Patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Identified by Protein Array, PLOS ONE (under review).

It contains the protein microarray data (ProtoArray, Life Technologies, Carlsbad, CA, USA) from a study that has been conducted at the Medizinisches Proteom-Center. 40 ProtoArrays have been incubated with sera from two clinical groups (20 Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and 20 healthy controls) to find evidence that ALS is associated with a specific panel of autoimmune antibodies that can be used as diagnostic biomarkers. All samples have been collected at the Neurological Clinic of the St. Josef Hospital in Bochum and were 1:1 frequency-matched by age and gender.
